Finally I installed Windows 8 Developer Preview on my desktop!

If you’re a developer and haven’t tried the new Windows operating system yet definitely then do check out the new Windows 8 Developer Preview.

Following is list of keyboard shortcuts of Windows 8 that will help you to get adapted and increase your productivity with Windows 8.

Windows 8 Global Shortcuts

Windows logo key+spacebar Switch input language and keyboardlayout
Windows logo key+Y  Temporarily peek at the desktop
Windows logo key+O  Locks device orientation
Windows logo key+V  Cycles through toasts
Windows logo key+shift+V Cycles through toasts in reverse order
Windows logo key+Enter    Launches Narrator
Windows logo key+PgUp    Moves tiles to the left
Windows logo key+PgDown  Moves tiles to the right
Windows logo key+Shift+. Moves the split to the left

Application specific keyboard shortcuts, for the Windows Explorer in Windows 8.

Alt+CO         It copies selected items in Windows Explorer.
Alt+V         Paste items from the clipboard, doesn’t work if you’ve copied nothing since the system start.
Alt+T          Cut Selected Items.
Alt+S        Paste the shortcut.
Alt+CP         Copy the path of the selected item in the explorer.
Alt+CF         Copy selected items to another folder.
Alt+M          Move selected items to another folder.
Alt+D          Delete Selected Items.
Alt+R          Rename Selected Items.
Alt+SN        Select None.
Alt+PR         Open Properties.
Alt+SI         Invert your current selection.
Alt+SA         Select all the items in the folder.
Alt+N          Create a new folder.
